The Shoei Multitec modular motorcycle helmet is a triple-vented flip-up number. The forehead vent has an adjustable slide shutter that provides controlled air intake through three ports. The chinbar has a larger air intake front vent. A neck outlet in the rear provides an exhaust egress that works with the forehead and chinbar vents to allow air circulation in the helmet for riding comfort.
The Shoei Multitec modular motorcycle helmet face shield provides 100% protection from UVA and UVB rays and is treated with a scratch resistant coating. The Q.R.B.P. (Quick Release Base Plate) allows tool-less shield removal. Overall, this DOT approved modular motorcycle helmet from Shoei is a vast improvement in looks, comfort and construction compared to its predecessor.
